La Tomatina

La Tomatina 2024 is an annual Spanish festival where participants engage in a massive tomato fight, hurling overripe tomatoes at each other purely for fun.

The festival takes place in Buñol, Spain on August 28th. To get there, stay in Valencia and take a shuttle to Buñol. The festival starts at 11:00 AM with an hour of tomato-throwing. Tickets are €12.

If you attend, wear old clothes + protective goggles, and arrive by 9:00 AM for the best spot. Bring a waterproof pouch for valuables and a change of clothes.
